Lori Hostuttler will be giving a tour at the West Virginia & Regional History Center. We will be meeting in the front lobby at the Downtown Library at West Virginia University.
The WVRHC is located on the 6th floor of the Downtown Library at West Virginia University. The West Virginia & Regional History Center is the foremost historical archives library in West Virginia, preserving the finest gathering of archives and manuscripts pertaining to the history of West Virginia and the central Appalachian region in existence. They have an extensive and varied collection of materials available for genealogical research. Included in this collection are prepared genealogies (both published and unpublished), census records, public records, military records, photographs, and manuscript materials.

We will be meeting promptly at 4:45PM in the front lobby of the Downtown Library. Participants will need to arrange for transportation or bring their personal vehicle.

The Bridgeport Public Library is located in Bridgeport, WV. The City of Bridgeport began providing financial support for the library in the mid-1970s. The library was then located on the top floor of the Benedum Civic Center on Main Street. In 1994 the citizens and businesses of Bridgeport raised over 1.3 million dollars to purchase and renovate the Allstate Insurance building on Johnson Avenue. It then became the Bridgeport Public Library. The library offers a variety of services and resources including books, eBooks, audiobooks, movies, music, magazines, online databases, and more!
