Makerspace Open Hours: Sewing Machines (All Ages)

The Makerspace Open Hours are coming back with new hours and a new format. This week we are bringing out the sewing machines. No registration is required. Please bring your own fabric.
This week we are bringing out the sewing machines.
- The Library provides thread, fabric scissors, irons, pins, clips, and tailor's chalk.
- Patrons will be required to sign a waiver before using the sewing machines. Patrons under 18 will require a signature from a parent or guardian.
- Please bring your own fabric, patterns, notions, and other items to the Open Hours.
- Registration is not required for the Makerspace Open Hours.
Bridgeport Public Library
The Bridgeport Public Library is located in Bridgeport, WV. The City of Bridgeport began providing financial support for the library in the mid-1970s. The library was then located on the top floor of the Benedum Civic Center on Main Street. In 1994 the citizens and businesses of Bridgeport raised over 1.3 million dollars to purchase and renovate the Allstate Insurance building on Johnson Avenue. It then became the Bridgeport Public Library. The library offers a variety of services and resources including books, eBooks, audiobooks, movies, music, magazines, online databases, and more!
